Obituary of Jacob Proper

Passed away after a courageous battle at Hospice Simcoe, Barrie with his family at his side on Wednesday November 3, 2010 at the age of 79. Beloved husband of 53 years of May. Loving father of Yolanda and Simona & her husband Chris Hepburn. Loved opa to Brittany and Conor. Dear brother of Meini Vandertas. Will be fondly missed by his family and by his many friends. Predeceased by his son-in-law Walter Clark (June 2010) and by his brothers, Cor and Aart. A celebration of Jake's life will be held at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 170 Steel Street, Barrie on Sunday November 7th at 2 pm. As an expression of sympathy, donations in memory of Jake may be made to Westminster Presbyterian Church or to Hospice Simcoe and may be made through the COLDWATER FUNERAL HOME, Coldwater (705-686-3344).
