Obituary of Lorne Nelson Silk

Passed away at the Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital on Wednesday March 25, 2015 at the age of 87, of Matchedash. Beloved husband of the late Donna (September 2012). Loving father of Barbara & her husband Doug Kitchen of Matchedash, Sandra & her husband John McIlravey of Midland, and Bonny & her husband Jamie Armstrong of Orillia. Will be fondly remembered by Bobby & his wife Dianne Laughlin of Warminster. Loved grandfather of 8 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Dear brother of Catherine Payne of Peterborough, and Wreatha Gammon of Severn Township. Predeceased by his brothers Ken, Art, and Harold. The family will honour Lorne’s life with a visitation at the COLDWATER FUNERAL HOME, Coldwater from 2-4 & 7-9pm Saturday, where the service will be held on Sunday March 29, 2015 at 2pm. Spring Interment St. John’s Anglican Cemetery, Matchedash. As an expression of sympathy donations in memory of Lorne may be made to St. John’s Anglican Church, Matchedash.
