Laird has been married to Betty since 1991.  They have 3 children.  He has been a licensed director since 1987 and involved in the funeral industry since 1982.  Laird is an active member of the I.O.O.F., the Coldwater Lions Club, and regularly attends St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Coldwater.
