Obituary of Jim Huntington

Passed away peacefully at Hospice Huronia – Tomkins House, Penetanguishene at the age of 75 on Wednesday November 12, 2025 of Waubaushene. 

James’s life was the one he shared with his beloved wife, his best friend and partner of 43 plus years (predeceased Gay, March 2024) and Lucy, his dog who brought so much joy into James’s days. Their companionship was simple and pure, (a wagging tail greeting him at the door, a soft presence at his side). 

James had a passion for motion, (aviation, trains, boats, engines of every kind).  If it moved, roared, or soared, James wanted to understand it, and admire it. 

James will be deeply missed by family and friends.

Jim requested to be cremated and a celebration of life will be held at the Coldwater Funeral Home, Coldwater on Sunday November 23^rd from 1-3pm.
