Surrounded by his loving family, Garry passed away peacefully at the Georgian Bay General Hospital, Midland on Tuesday November 25, 2025 at the age of 89. Loving father of Whitney Newton (Mark), Sarah Carruthers (David), and Kirk Wright (Cindy). Loved grandfather of Hayden (Alexandra), Carter (Marjel), and Tate. Great-grandfather of Roran. Survived by his extended family, Todd Humphrey and his children Claire and Evan, and by Mark (Kris) and their children Blake and Tyler. Predeceased by his sister Lori Gill.
At Garry’s request, he will be cremated and there will be no visitation or service.
