Obituary of Mary Jo Frances "Joey" Kelly

Passed away peacefully at home at the age of 67, with her husband and best friend, Tim Pursel, by her side. Joey was deeply loved and will be forever missed by Tim and their cherished fur babies, who were a constant source of joy and companionship in her life.

She will be deeply missed by her sister, Sharon Twomey-Kelly-Blacklock (Kevin), mother-in-law  Lorraine and brother in laws Chris (Gloria) and Rob (Rekha) Pursel. 

She will be lovingly remembered by her nieces and nephews Kelli Twomey, John Twomey (Erika), Krista Blevins, Bryan Kelly (Stephanie), Julie Kelly, and Paul Twomey; Lauren, Davis, Alena Pursel, and her many great-nieces and great-nephews; Alexia, Zander, Aubree, Hailey, Brooklyn, Chase, Ava Mae, Meara, Gavin, Henry, Maddy, and Alina.

Joey was predeceased by her parents; Grace and Langford Kelly, her brother; Brian Kelly and father-in-law John Pursel.

Known for her warmth, loyalty, and the deep love she had for her family, Joey leaves behind memories that will be cherished and carried forward by all who knew her. Her laughter, and kindness will be profoundly missed, but her spirit will remain forever in the hearts of those she loved. 

At the request of the family a private family gathering will be held.  The family will honour Joey with a celebration of life for friends and family at a later date.

As an expression of sympathy, donations in memory of Joey may be made to the Midland Branch of the O.S.P.C.A. and may be made through the Funeral Home.
