Obituary of Harvey Leduc

On Saturday April 11, 2026, Harvey Leduc of Port Severn passed away peacefully at home, at the age of 84.

Harvey was born May 11, 1941 to Percy and Melina.  Harvey was the beloved husband of the late Barbara and a loving father to Debby, Bonnie and her husband Bruce, Michelle and her husband Mike, and James and his wife Ashley.  He was a proud Papa to his grandchildren Jonathan and his wife Madison, Noah and his fiancée Elizabeth, Connor, and Brodie, and a cherished “Big Papa” to his great-grandchildren, Melina and Bailey.

He is survived by his siblings Erva, June and her husband Mike, George and his wife Grace, and Wanda and her husband Scott, and predeceased by his brothers Bradley and Melvin.  Harvey was also a dear brother-in-law to Phil, the late Dinah, Bruce & Mary, Andy & Sally, Terry & Colleen, and Natalie & Rick.  And an uncle to many nieces and nephews.

Harvey will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by all.

Following cremation the family will honour Harvey with a memorial mass at Our Lady of Mercy Roman Catholic Church, 2590 Honey Harbour Road, Honey Harbour on Friday April 24^th at 3pm.  Following the mass the family and friends are invited to the Baxter Ward Community Centre, 25 Community Centre Drive, Port Severn for the reception and celebration of life from 4-6pm.

As an expression of sympathy donations in memory of Harvey may be made to the Port Severn & Honey Harbour Food Bank, the Baxter Snow Riders, or Our Lady of Mercy Parish and can be made through the Funeral Home.
