To the Nolan family,
Please accept our heart felt condolences on the recent passing of Jack. I can’t imagine the sense of loss you are feeling. Jack was such an impressive man in so many ways – his values, sense of humour, the way he related to people, his leadership, and of course his faith. We attended the Severn Falls Chapel for a number of years before moving to Leamington. Those were special times that we will never forget. We met so many wonderful people there. It’s hard to believe ten years have passed since the Chapel celebrated its 60th anniversary. We were so pleased that a video was made to honour the wonderful story of Jack, Marie, and the Chapel. The Chapel is a special place – there’s no doubt it will continue to be a blessing to cottage country for years to come, with Jack and Marie smiling down from heaven.
May God give you strength and comfort during this difficult time.
With love,
David and Sharmila Clifford

Jack's stalwart faith impacted more lives than we could ever know. Only eternity can tell of what God has been able to accomplish because of Jack's faithfulness and his passion for missions. A good and faithful servant..well done Jack. See you later.

I sort of grew up with Jack and Marie always being around and having an impact on my life. He was my scout master and enjoyed the aspect of working with young boys. I have fond memories of our camping at his cottage and seeing the enjoyment he had doing good in the world. He was a good friend of my father and I can still see him doing the eulogy for my father. He has made his mark on our world and he will be truly missed. I offer my condolences to the family, you have lost a great father. Ken told us.

I will miss seeing you at Functional Fitness, Jack! I always enjoyed our chats. I’ll miss you too, Cindy. We had some good chats and laughs. You were so good with your Dad…..a patient, loving daughter. I’m sure he was very grateful for your love and care.
Rest in peace, Jack.

My deepest condolences to the Nolan family. I will cherish the many fond memories of 'Dad'. There were many visits to the cottage, the trip to Florida, the Sunday church services, Family dinners, the many loving hugs upon arrival and departure. A big piece of my heart will always be filled by these cherished memories.

The time has come to say good night
My, how the years have flown
We’ve shared a laugh, a tear or two
And now it’s time to go
We call it “good night” instead of goodbye
For times like these are few
But memories stay warm and bright
Of all we shared with you
And so we leave with grateful hearts
And gentle words to say
May God bless you and keep you safe
Until we meet again
Thank you Jack for all the beautiful memories you left me with.
Love, Susan “Suzie”

We would like to express sincere sympathy to Jack’s family during this sad time. I worked with Jack at Grey Owen Sound Social Services from 1974 until his retirement. We fondly remember to staff recreation that Jack and Marie hosted at their lovely Big Chute cottage, and where we got to know their family. Additionally we enjoyed several visits to the Chapel. He enjoyed a long and wonderful life and we take comfort in knowing he is now with his savior. He will surely be missed by many who were privileged to get to know him and his family. Prayers and Best Wishes from Norma and Paul Beattie.
