Passed away at the Soldiers' Memorial hospital on Tuesday November 22, 2011, in her 79th year. Joan Johnstone (nee: Bailey) beloved wife of 62 years to Everett Johnstone. Much loved mother of Murray (Janet) of New Liskeard, Terry (Eunice) of Oro-Station, Richard (Helen) of Orillia, and Douglas of Carley. Loving grandmother of Dwain (Sheri), Daina (Mike), and Shelby). Great Grandmother of Parker, Chase, Tinisha, Connor, Saige, and Macgregor. Loving Sister of Bernice McHugh and sister-in-law of Marie Bailey. Predeceased by her brother Ivan Bailey and by her brother-in-law Danny McHugh. Joan will be missed sadly by her family, nieces, nephews, friends and by her dear friends Bernice Courtney and Leonard Nichols. At the family's request a private family service will be held followed by interment at Hobart Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy donations in memory of Joan may be made to the Soldiers' Memorial Hospital Foundation.
