Obituary of Robert Roger "Bob" Burton
Bob passed away peacefully at home on Sunday February 14, 2021 surrounded by his loving wife Ellen, (nee Hayes) of 51 years and family. Loving father of Stephanie (Tim) and Kelli (Dave). Extremely proud poppa of Courtney (Cody), Kaiden, Kyla, Jacob and Taylor. Son of the late Aimable and Floria Burton and brother of Ralph (Cindy), Theresa Pinard (late Joe), Gert Delorme (late Jack), Len (Muriel), Lucy Cross (Bob), Georgette Joly (Norm) and Ron. Predeceased by his siblings Alice Delorme (late Leo), Jim (late Fay), Vic (Marlene), Leo, Simone Burns (late George), Andy (Millie), and Chum (Shirley). He will be sadly missed by his many nieces and nephews and extended members from the Burton and Hayes families as well as his large circle of friends. Bob, lovingly referred to as ‘Bebop’ was the successful owner of Midland Auto Radiator, many country music bars and owner/producer of Burco Records. His charismatic personality was magnetic and drew everyone to him. Always the life of the party and centre of attention even if he didn’t want to be. He was constantly asked to pick up the guitar, sing a few tunes and had a joke to tell to keep everyone laughing. He had a nickname for everyone and famous for his one liner’s that so many will use while remembering his contagious laugh. He will be remembered as a loving husband, dad and poppa who lived life to the fullest and his legacy will live on with everyone he knew. Bob has requested to be cremated and there will be no visitation or service. A celebration of Bob’s life will be announced at a later date.To plant a tree in memory of Robert Burton, please visit Tribute Store
