Obituary of Annie Marie Coombs
Passed away peacefully in her sleep at Oak Terrace, Orillia on Friday January 24, 2025 at the age of 86. Beloved wife of the late Fred Coombs [August 2011]. Loved mother of Diane Laughlin, Kim Robb, Bryan (April) and the late Richard [July 2023] (Jenny). Loving grandmother of 8 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Dear sister of Betty, Art, Raymond, Donna and the late Lloyd. Will be missed by her many nieces and nephews.
Annie was a Life Member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #270, Coldwater, Long time member of the Eady-Grenard Women’s Institute, and for 26 years drove a school bus.
The family will honour her life with a visitation at the Coldwater Funeral Home, Coldwater on Friday January 31st from 2-5pm. The Coldwater Legion “Ladies Auxiliary” will pay tribute to Annie on Friday at 4:45pm. A celebration of Annie’s life will be held at the Coldwater Legion on Saturday February 1st from 1-4pm.
The Spring Interment and Graveside Service will be held in the Spring at Vasey United Cemetery.
As an expression of sympathy, donations in memory of Annie may be made to the charity of your choice and may be made through the Funeral Home.
