Obituary of Kenneth John Arthur McKinnon
Passed away peacefully, surrounded by family at the Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital, Orillia on Tuesday February 25, 2025, Ken McKinnon of Coldwater at the age of 95. Predeceased by his beloved wife Joyce (February 2022). Loved father of Marlene McKinnon of Newmarket, Diane Gratrix (Tom) of Tay Township, Ken McKinnon (Merlyn) of the Philippines, and Larry McKinnon (Cathy) of Orillia. Loving grandfather of 10 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. Dear brother of Carol Hartley (Bill) of St. John’s, New Brunswick. Predeceased by his sisters, Margaret, Audrey, and Edith.
The family will honour his life with a visitation at the COLDWATER FUNERAL HOME, Coldwater on Friday from 2-4 & 6-8pm. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. John’s Roman Catholic Church, Waubaushene on Saturday March 1st at 1pm. Cremation to follow.
As an expression of sympathy donations in memory of Ken may be made to the charity of your choice and may be made through the Coldwater Funeral Home.
