Obituary of Rev. Heather Louise Dobson
Passed away peacefully at Spencer House, Orillia on Wednesday March 5, 2025 at the age of 78 years.
Loved sister of Joanne Tinney and Bert Dobson (Bernice). Dear Aunt of Shawna, Mark (Melanie), Tammy (Victor), Walker (Dora), and Tina (Rick). Great Aunt of Joshua (Jessica), Lucas (Hannah), Savannah, Cassidy, Chelsea (Matt), Chase (Megan), Jake (Katrina), Joe (Kahlan), Cody (Brittany), Casey (Kim), and Sydney. Also survived by many great great nieces & nephews. Predeceased by her parents Bert (September 1991) and Jean (April 2021) and by her brother-in-law Peter Tinney (January 2025).
Heather was a retired Minister of the United Church of Canada, Past Chaplain of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #547, Lefroy (1988-1990), and a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #34, Orillia.
The family will honour Heather’s life with a visitation at the Coldwater Funeral Home, Coldwater on Sunday March 9th from 4-8pm and at Wesley Eady United Church, 708 Moonstone Road, East, Oro-Medonte on Monday March 10th from 1pm until the time of service at 2pm. Spring Interment Coldwater Cemetery.
As an expression of sympathy donations in memory of Heather may be made to the Wesley Eady United Church and may be made through the Funeral Home.
