Obituary of Peter Paul Gresser

(Retired Captain with Toronto Fire Services)

Passed away suddenly at his home in Barrie on Sunday May 25, 2025 at the age of 73.  Loved father of Alicia Gresser, Erin Gresser (Tayler Crake), and Sean Gresser (Christine).  Dear grandfather of Violet Crake and Sean Gresser Jr.  Survived by his sisters Marianne Odell (Dave), Lisa Fay (Dave), Doreen Saunders (Spence), and Karol McFarlane and by his brother Willi Gresser (Colleen).  Will be fondly remembered by his ex-wife and forever friend, Margo Gresser and by his numerous nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by his mother Wally Jabs, by his father Paul Gresser, and by his sister Delores Kramer. 

Peter has been cremated and a celebration of his life will be held at the Newmarket Legion, 707 Srigley Street, Newmarket on Friday June 20^th from 2 – 5pm.  As an expression of sympathy, donations in memory of Peter may be made to The Hospital for SickKids, Toronto or to Cuba Canada Brussy Rescue (brussyshelter@outlook.com) and may be made through the Funeral Home.
