Passed away peacefully at her home in Coldwater with her loving family at her side on Sunday February 5, 2017 at the age of 62. Beloved daughter of the late Alvin (August 1987) & Marg (September 2014). Loved sister of Elaine Atkins (Chuck) of Dundas. Loving aunt of Christopher (Lisa), and Debbie. Dear great aunt of Emily and Daniel. Predeceased by her grandparents Evelyn & Charlie Galbraith, and Laura & Art Balkwill. Niece of Betty Hawke, Morley Balkwill, and Lynda & Bob Johnston. Will be missed by her extended family and many friends. The family wish to express their sincere appreciation to the Helping Hands girls, Doctors Stone, Da Costa, Perry, and Soliman and all the staff at Sunnybrook Health Sciences for their compassionate care given to Connie and special thanks to Lynda & Bob for taking Connie to her many appointments. Following cremation, a visitation to honour her life will be held at the COLDWATER FUNERAL HOME, Coldwater from 2-4pm Saturday. A Service of Remembrance will be held at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, Coldwater on Sunday February 12th at 1:30pm. Immediately following the service the family wish to invite everyone to the Coldwater Legion for the reception. As an expression of sympathy donations in memory of Connie may be made to St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, Coldwater, the Coldwater Memorial Public Library or to Hospice Simcoe, Barrie.
