My sister Connie (Galbraith) and I had a good visit with Walter on one occasion at Trillium.
But my favourite memory is of the special smile my mother reserved for him. Mom (Marg Galbraith) used to talk by phone on a daily basis with Walter, and her face would always light up as he would inevitably tease her during the conversation. She truly missed those calls when they became too difficult for him to manage.
He was a one-of-a-kind character whom I clearly remember from my younger days, and I offer my condolences to all of the family.
