Obituary of Charles Perry

Passed away at his home in Barrie with his family at his side on Tuesday June 18, 2013, at the age of 92. Loving husband and happily married to Grace for 69yrs. Loved father of Don Perry & his wife Anne, Mary Lou & her husband Michael Johnston, and Linda Denny. Predeceased by his son-in-law Vern Denny (March 31, 2013). Cherished grandfather of 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Charlie was a member of I.O.O.F. Barrie Lodge #63, a member of Kerr Masonic Lodge, the Scottish Rite, the Shriner's, and a member of the Eastern Star. Following cremation the family will honour Charlie's life with visitation at the MacKinnon Family Funeral Home, 55 Mill Street, Acton on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9pm. A celebration of Charlie's life will be held at the Churchill Community Church (Churchill Road North at the Halton/Erin Town Line) on Saturday June 22nd at 1pm. As an expression of sympathy donations in memory of Charlie may be made to the I.O.O.F. Seniors Home, Barrie or to the Painswick United Church, Barrie and may be made through the Coldwater Funeral Home, Coldwater or MacKinnon Family Funeral Home, Acton.
