I wish to extend my sincere sympathy to all the family. I knew
the time was coming but I still felt the pain of my cousin who was
like a big sister to me. I still think of sitting on the steps of
my mom and dads home and having long chats. Lenore was a person who
cared deeply about all her family. We talked about the man she had
met and hope to some day marry which she did. She was very close to her dad who was the Fire chief at Mount Forest ON for many years and her mother who was such a great knitter. We talked about the war and the great sadness she felt when her brother Orbie was missing in action in the 2nd world war and then buried in Belgium. Leonard and Willard who had both served and Lorne who had passed away as a young boy during the war. On the phone we talked about the many Sundays they spent at our home
and how Orbie her brother had taught us to make airplanes from clothespins and float them over the roof of our house and Lenore and my brother hurling them back. These airplanes flew apart and so Orbie said If you pick the clothespins up I will put them together and float them back. We will win. We ended up even sometimes as we couldnt find any of the clothespins. When dad cut the lawn which was huge we found most of them. Wash day was a disaster to hang the clothes out unless we could find the clothespins. Lenore worked hard all her life, both at home with
her mom and dad and did an excellent job of raising her family. I always wished we lived side by side so we could see one another more often in our senior years. I see so much of the kindness and looks of Lenore in the family that she truly will live on thru them. Lenore you can be sure is in heaven and we will just have to look up and look for the brightest
star and that will be her.
I will always think of her as I have done for many years and remember the good times we shared forever.
May God Bless all the family in this time of loss and I know both all of you and I will remember the good times and the best teller of jokes.
She was the first girl in the McIntosh family in 71 years with being in the 3rd generation and I was the 2nd.-We may have been 2nd cousins but we always thought of us as being sisters.
Rest in Peace Lenore you have earned it-with your love and respect for all and all the kind and good things you have done in life.

Whoops I put the condolence under the candle. My sincere sympathy in the loss of a great mother, grandmother and gr grandmother.I will always cherish the good times we had together. Lenore was a hard working, honest person who loved to tell jokes. We were like sisters and I know that she truly loved and adored all her family. She was always there for me when I was a young-being 7 years younger. I will always think of her and the good times we had and the great respect all people had for her everywhere she went. I know she will be cherished in heaven as a bright and shining star. Again My deepest sympathy to all the family.
