Obituary of Francis McGuire

Passed away peacefully in his sleep at his home in Waubaushene on Saturday August 10, 2013 at the age of 93. Beloved husband of Peggy and predeceased by his first wife Kathleen. Loved father of Joan Vogan, Carol Morrison, Kate Hubbard, Mike McGuire, Wayne McGuire, Frank McGuire Jr., and David McGuire. Loving grandfather of 14 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Dear brother of Paul McGuire & his wife Gerry, Ben McGuire and his wife Anne, and Thelma Donnelly. Will be sadly missed by his nieces and nephews. Frank was a Veteran of W.W. ll, a member of Royal Canadian Legion Branch #316, Waubaushene, and a former realtor in Toronto. The family will honour his life with a visitation at the COLDWATER FUNERAL HOME, 22 Sturgeon Bay Road, Coldwater (705-686-3344 or 1-888-645-5485) from 2-4 & 7-9pm Wednesday. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. John's Roman Catholic Church, Waubaushene on Thursday August 15th at 11am. Interment St. Patricks Roman Catholic Cemetery, Schomberg on Thursday afternoon at 3pm. As an expression of sympathy donations in memory of Frank may be made to the "Poppy Fund" of the R.C.L. Branch #316, Waubaushene or to St. John's Roman Catholic Church, Waubaushene.
