Lake Kawigamog, Lost Channel Inn and the Grundy Post! If you were lucky enough to know her you knew how loving she was to all those around her and how proud she was to show you off whether you were friend or family! She'd call you sweetheart or Dear. Visits up to "Millwood" were alway met with treats and laughter and cottage friends stoping in for a visit and to share a story or two. Her residence was always an open door policy met with warm and loving welcomes. She'd tell you where the best fishing spots were and what bait was best! We'd always get surprised with a canoe or peddle boat to use or if lucky enough a wonderful ride on Harv and Elsa's houseboat! Her love of Nature and Gardening followed her wherever she lived and her knowledge about it was passed down to her family. From Beaver and Churchill to Lizzie and Boots and later Cola, her animals were lovingly the most spoiled pets anyone could have. The blue bunkee was always a place to stay if needed and she opened it to not only family and friends but those who maybe needed a place to stay for awhile. If you were lucky enough to know her, I'm sure you've been gifted with a pair of knitted socks or mitts or even a matching hat. She was a wonderfully kind and generous soul who just gave to everyone she met! Fish frys, summer weekends on the lake and the Pay family reunion were some of my fondest memories. I will miss her big loving hugs and kisses, her infectious laugh and her stories! Love you Gramma Millie, always xoxo

Cathy and Family: Just a short note to offer our thoughts and prayers to you on the loss of your dear Mom. I remember her at the lake and her kindness to Bree and Sara, and dropping by and always being offered a great cup of coffee and her taking my friend Val from out west when she was visiting to bingo and they had a great time.Val still talks about it.Also her beautiful hydrangea bushes and her tips on keeping them after being picked. Your Mom was a special lady and we think of her often. With Kindest Regards Cathy and Randy Hicks
