Romy was a fond friend who showed ardent support for a struggling author and journalist. When no one else seemed to care he showed loyal support to me. That is the kind of guy he was, very thoughtful, gentle and caring. I had several fond memories of visits with Romy at his cottage up north. He also paid me visits at my house. We will miss you Rom. Save us a place up there if they'll have us.

I light this candle today Dec. 12, 2013 in fond memory of our great friend Romy Pikilik whom I met nearly 20 yrs ago. A fantastic friend of my fiances' Bob (Werewolf) Murray, and buddy Bob (Manny) Taylor. To think that your place was a mere 25 mins. from my family cottage and I never met you til later yrs/what a loss! Our hearts are very heavy with grief for Romy and Lynns' sons Elliot and Eric , for Sally and for Roms' beloved sister Christine, and two very cherished bro's Julian/family and Ricky. DEAR PIKULIK FAMILY ESP CHRISTINE So sorry to hear about romy. my time with your family growing up in the hood has been a fond memory but the fondest and most vivid memory was when in the early seventies your brother romy came home with a completely shaved head and your parents reaction to his new do!!! i was always welcome at your house christine and we shared many good times. i feel bad for your family. having already lost my parents and 2 husbands i know the pain all the best to you in the coming days christine if you would like to get together sometime pls get in touch @ sheilakozak@ yahoo.com. but losing a brother/sun must be hard take care xo xo
