Obituary of Steven Barnes

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Steven Edward Barnes on January 17, 2014. Surrounded by loving family, Steve passed away at Toronto General Hospital after a courageous battle. Beloved husband and best friend of Beverly (nee Creighton). Father and friend of Mitchell and Kylee. Survived by his parents Bill and Pat Barnes, brothers Dale Mytton (Wendy), Darrell (Terri), Barry (Sandra), sister Sandy Mark (Rob), mother-in-law Frances Creighton, brother-in-law Phil Creighton, and sisters-in law Jennifer Cooling and Kate Lambert (Bob). Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews and his dogs Lucy and Molly. A memorial service to celebrate Steve's life will be held at Christian Fellowship Chapel, 1296 Cambrian Line, Orillia on Saturday January 25, 2014 with a visitation from 1 p.m. until the time of service at 2 p.m.
