Obituary of Joan Silk

Passed away with her family at her side at Trillium Manor, Orillia on Sunday January 26, 2014 at the age of 81, formerly of R.R. #1, Coldwater. Beloved wife of the late Art Silk (April 2005). Loving mother of Bev Silk & his wife Brenda, Marie & her husband David Laughlin, Fern & her husband Fred Sisulak, Marilyn Hill, and Don Silk & his wife Maybel. Loved grandmother of 11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Dear sister of Mary & her husband John Silk, and Ernie Oakley & his wife Laurene of Orillia. Predeceased by her brother and sister-in-law Oliver & Irene Oakley and by her sister and brother-in-law Laura & Jimmy Silk. The family will honour her life with a visitation at the COLDWATER FUNERAL HOME, Coldwater from 2-4 & 7-9pm Wednesday. The funeral service will be held at St. John's Anglican Church, Matchedash on Thursday January 30th at 1pm. Spring interment St. John's Anglican Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy donations in memory of Joan may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
