Obituary of C. Orley Silk

Passed away peacefully in his sleep at Trillium Manor, Orillia on Saturday May 3, 2014 at the age of 88, formerly of Coldwater. Beloved husband of the late Lila (July 1995). Loved father of Randy Silk (Jo-Anne), Sharon O'Connor (Danny), Eldee Silk (Jill), and Brad Silk (Anna). Loving grandpa of 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Dear brother of Margaret Lyness and Howard Silk. Predeceased by his brother Charlie Silk and by his sister Dorothy Lowe. The family will honour his life with a visitation at the COLDWATER FUNERAL HOME, Coldwater on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9pm. Family and friends are invited to the Coldwater Legion on Thursday May 8th for a celebration of Orley's life from 12:30 - 4pm, with a time of sharing memories at 2pm. A family graveside service will be held at St. John's Anglican Cemetery, Matchedash at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, donations in memory of Orley may be made to the charity of your choice.
