Obituary of Margaret Galbraith

Passed away peacefully with her family at her side at the Georgian Bay General Hospital, Midland on Saturday September 6, 2014 at the age of 86, of Coldwater. Beloved wife of the late Alvin, (August 1987). Loving mother of Elaine Atkins (Chuck) of Dundas and Connie of Coldwater. Loved grandmother of Christopher (Lisa), and Debbie. Dear great grandmother of Emily and Daniel. Predeceased by her parents Laura & Arthur Balkwill. Sister of Elmer Balkwill of Orillia, Betty Hawke of Eady, Morley Balkwill of Orillia, and Lynda Johnston of Carley. Will be missed by the Galbraith family. The family wish to express their sincere appreciation to the nurses and doctors for the support and compassionate care given to Marg. The family will honour Marg's life with a visitation at the COLDWATER FUNERAL HOME, Coldwater, (705-686-3344), from 2-4 & 7-9pm Thursday. The funeral service will be held at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Coldwater on Friday September 12th at 1pm. Interment Coldwater Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy donations in memory of Marg may be made to St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church or to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
