Obituary of George Deason

Passed away peacefully at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre, Barrie on Sunday February 8, 2015 at the age of 101 of Innisfil. Beloved husband of the late Rose. Loving father of Gary and Ken. Will be missed by his loved grandchildren Dennis, Mark (Melissa), Jamie, Keri (Kevin), and Natalie & her 2 children, and by his great grandchildren Kalanie, Markus, Avery, and Brooke. George was a veteran of WWII serving as a Corporal with the Royal Canadian Airforce, was an active member of St. Paul's Anglican Church, and a volunteer for over 30 years with Meals on Wheels. Following cremation the family will honour George's life with a visitation at St. Paul's Anglican Church, Barrie (corner of Yonge Street and Mapleview Drive) on Monday February 16th from 11am until time of service at 1pm. As an expression of sympathy donations in memory of George can be made to St. Paul's Anglican Church or to the Poppy Fund of the Lefroy - Belle Ewart Legion and may be made through the COLDWATER FUNERAL HOME, (705-686-3344 or 1-888-645-5485).
