Obituary of Ruth Brandon

Passed away at the Soldiers' Memorial Hospital, Orillia on Wednesday December 15, 2010 at the age of 86, of Coldwater. Beloved wife of the Late Crawford Brandon. Daughter of the late Freeman & Ruth Mitton of Cape Tormentine, New Brunswick. Predeceased by her brothers John Mitton, William Mitton, and Alan Mitton, and by her sisters Margaret Gaudet, Marina McConnell, and Selma Watterson. Ruth was a veteran of W.W.II (C.W.A.C.) and a life member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #270, Coldwater (member for 61 years). At the request of Ruth, a graveside funeral service will be held in the spring at St. John's Anglican Church Cemetery, Matchedash. As an expression of sympathy, donations in memory of Ruth may be made to the R.C.L. Branch #270, Coldwater "Poppy Fund" and may be made through the COLDWATER FUNERAL HOME, Coldwater (705-686-3344 or 1-888-645-5485).
