Obituary of Orlando Potter

Passed away peacefully at the Soldiers' Memorial Hospital, Orillia on Friday February 4, 2011 in his 94th year, formerly of Coldwater. Predeceased by his wife Dorothy (Howell), married 64 years. Predeceased by his parents Wesley & Oda Potter and by his sister Florence McInnis. Beloved father of Joyce Stewart of Orillia, Joan Nevison of Orillia, Dan Potter (Late June) of Winnipeg, David Potter (Kirsten) of Guelph, and Janice Prince (Donovan) of Winnipeg. Cherished grandfather of 10 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild. Special thanks to the staff of Oak Terrace Nursing Home of the care they gave to both our father and mother. Thanks to Soldiers' Memorial Hospital extensive care and the nurses on Soldiers 1. The family will honour Orley's life with a visitation at the COLDWATER FUNERAL HOME, Coldwater on Sunday February 13th from 1pm until time of service at 3pm. Cremation to follow. As an expression of sympathy donations in memory of Orley may be made to Soldiers' Memorial Hospital Foundation or to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
