Passed away peacefully at Hospice Simcoe, Barrie on Wednesday February 16, 2011 at the age of 61, of Coldwater. Beloved husband of Brenda (nee: Penley). Loving father of Jeffrey & his wife Daina, and Kimberley & her husband Gregory Franklin. Dear grandfather of Sydney and Ashley Greenwood, and Jade and Jenna Franklin. Loved son of Vila & the late Harold Greenwood (May 2010). Dear brother of Harolyn & her husband Bob Capstick and Irene Greenwood & her partner Joan Jarvis all of Winnipeg. Brother-in-law of Ben Hunter of Peterborough. Predeceased by his sister-in-law Sharon Hunter. Will be remembered by his loving friends John & Lynda Ferguson of Orillia. Jack was a long time owner of Coldwater Lumber, a long timer member of the Coldwater Lions Club, active member of Coldwater United Church and Coldwater United Church Choir. The family will honour Jack's life withe a visitation at the COLDWATER FUNERAL HOME, Coldwater on Monday from 2-4 & 7-9pm. The funeral service will be held at the Coldwater United Church on Tuesday February 22nd at 1pm. Private interment will take place at St. Andrew's-St. Jame's Cemetery, Orillia. The Coldwater Lions Club will gather at the funeral home to honour Jack on Monday evening at 6:30pm. As an expression of sympathy donations in memory of Jack may be made to Hospice Simcoe, Barrie, the Coldwater Lions Club, or the Coldwater United Church.
