Obituary of Morley Lye

Passed away peacefully in his sleep, with his family at his side at the Soldiers' Memorial Hospital, Orillia on Thursday March 3, 2011 at the age of 85. Beloved husband of Agatha of R.R. 5 Coldwater. Loving father of Ruth Leistner of Orillia, and Carl Lye & his wife Sherry of R.R. 2 Coldwater. Loved grandfather of Ceone Leistner & her husband Clint, Kira & her husband Wade Eastcott, Christina & her husband Mark Stine, and Ken Lye. Great grandfather of Dalton, Danica, Grace, Zack, Owen, and Ethan. Dear brother of Dorothy & her husband Scott Robertson of Orillia, and Dolores Beard of Orillia. Predeceased by his brother Ken. Morley was a mason and Past Master of Karnak Lodge #492 AF&AM and a member of the Orillia Shrine Club "Pumper Unit". The family will honour Morley's life with a visitation at the COLDWATER FUNERAL HOME, Coldwater on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9pm. The funeral service will be held at the Coldwater United Church on Saturday March 5th at 1pm. Spring Interment Coldwater Cemetery. The member of Karnak Lodge #492 AF&AM will gather at the funeral home to honour Morley on Friday evening at 6:30pm.
