Obituary of Douglas Seymour

Passed away suddenly at the Royal Victoria Hospital, Barrie on Friday April 8, 2011 at the age of 49. Loved husband of Susan of Barrie. Loving father of Andrew. Beloved son of Maurice & Mary Seymour of Orillia. Dear brother of Sandra Davis (Marty) of Orillia. Son-in-law of Terry & Brent Petroff of North River. Brother-in-law of Cory Petroff (Susanne) and Ben Petroff (Shannon) all of North River. Dear uncle of Rebecca Davis & her son Chase, Dylan, Sara, Marcus, and Lyla. Will be remembered by his aunts, uncles, cousins and by his friends. Doug will be greatly missed by his companions Drew, Lexus, Wildey, Pink and Alvin. The family wish to express their sincere appreciation to Dr. Michalski, Dr. Hartsburg, Dr. Ward, and the paramedics for the care and support shown to Doug. The family will celebrate Doug's life with a service of remembrance at the COLDWATER FUNERAL HOME, Coldwater on Wednesday April 13th at 11am. As an expression of sympathy, donations in memory of Doug may be made to the Matchedash Community Heritage Centre or the Canadian Diabetes Association.
