Passed away at the Soldiers' Memorial Hospital, on Friday August 26, 2011 at the age of 82. Loving and cherished wife of 64 years to John of Coldwater. Loved mother of Susan Whelan of P.E.I., Libby & her husband Tom Pokoradi of Coldwater, Kathy & her husband Doug Humphries of Coldwater, Ian Raymond & his wife Elva of Brantford. Dear grandmother of James, April, Chris and Alexandra, and 7 great grandchildren. Sister of Ray and Bob Dempster. Predeceased by her son-in-law Basil Whelan. At Jean's request, cremation has taken place. As an expression of sympathy, donations in memory of Jean may be made to the Soldiers' Memorial Hospital, Foundation and may be made through the COLDWATER FUNERAL HOME, Coldwater (705-686-3344).
