Obituary of Betty Archer

Passed away at the Royal Victoria Hospital, Barrie with her family at her side on Monday September 26, 2011 at the age of 81, of Coldwater. Beloved wife of the late Ted Archer (1978). Loving mother of Helen Givens (Charles), Faye Watters (Jack), Fred Archer (Wendy), Stephanie Moreau (Marvin). Loved grandmother of Sean Givens (Jackie), Andrea Givens (Greg LeBlanc), Leah Watters (Chris Wiwchar), Sarah Ball (Trevor), Leigh Archer (Sarah), Cory Archer (Jessica), Ted Moreau, Cassie Moreau, and Neil Moreau. Dear great grandmother of Keagan, Kieran, Mason, Braden, Makinna, Elizabeth, Michael, Hayley, and Jana. Predeceased by her siblings Lillian Gratrix, Edith Sallows, Bill Gratrix, and Hazel McKay. Survived by her brother-in-law Allan McKay and his wife Lela and by her sister-in-law Margaret Lyness. Betty was very supportive of her community by being an active member of the North River Women's Institute and very active member of St. John's Anglican Church, Matchedash. The family will honour her life with a visitation at the COLDWATER FUNERAL HOME, Coldwater on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9pm. A service of remembrance will be held at St. John's Anglican Church Matchedash on Saturday October 1st at 1pm. Inurnment St. John's Anglican Church Cemetery, Matchedash. As an expression of sympathy donations in memory of Betty may be made to St. John's Anglican Church, Matchedash.
