Sandra and family.....I am so sorry to hear about Wayne's passing. He is one of those guys that I think about quite often. I can remember a time vividly, like it was yesterday about Wayne. We were playing a home game and Noah had just hit a big 3 run bomb for us. I can remember coming out of the dugout to meet him at the plate and looking down the RF line and seeing Wayne with that look on his face that said..."yep....that's MY grandson!!!" That OBA Championship team was a very special group of young men..as well as a very special staff....BUT it was people like Sandra, Chris and Wayne that really made it special. The tightness of the entire group....parents and grandparents....that made that year what it was. I always enjoyed speaking to Wayne at the park and getting his "2 cents" worth. He.....along with the guys....and the coaching staff....was the reason I loved going to the diamond. He was a special man and I know when I look at my ring on a daily basis....not only do I think about Noah who I think the world of....but also the other 11 guys, the coaches, the parents and grandparents like Wayne. I hope you guys remember the good as that's all that man was.
