Obituary of Rose Blanchard

Passed away after a brief illness at the Georgian Bay General Hospital, Penetanguishene on Friday March 23, 2012 at the age of 80 of R.R.#1 Waubaushene. Beloved wife of the late Robert (October 2004). Loved mother of Robert (Edie), Ron (Shelley), and Roger (Meghan). Loving grandmother of Alex, Drew, Beth (Tim), Courtney (Brad), and Veronica (Jacob). Great grandmother of Hailey, Ben, Emma, Ava-Rose, Kaden, and Maximus. Dear sister of Ellen Ashton (Wes), Velma Cunliffe (Don), Dorothy Wright, Ruby Campbell (Gary), Carol Rowan (Ken), Bill Oster, Jim Oster (Sandra), and Larry Oster. Predeceased by her sisters Marion Nicholson, Grace Hill, and Margaret Oster and by her brother Roy Oster. Sister-in-law of Barbara Blanchard. Rose was a long time member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #316, Waubaushene. The family will honour her life with a visitation at the COLDWATER FUNERAL HOME, Coldwater (705-686-3344 or 1-888-645-5485) on Monday evening from 7-9pm. The funeral mass will be held at St. John's Roman Catholic Church, Waubaushene on Tuesday March 27th at 11am. Followed by cremation.
