Obituary of Betty Milne

Passed away peacefully at Hospice Simcoe, Barrie on Wednesday March 8, 2017 at the age of 89, of Barrie and formerly of Sandy Cove Acres. Beloved wife of the late Charles Connor Milne (April 1999) and the late John Frederick Johnson (August 1980). Loving mother of Janet Balmer of Oshawa, Bruce Frederick Johnson (Pauline Graham) of Oshawa, and the late Catherine McCoy (December 1974). Loved grandmother of Brian, David (Lori), Tara (Jeff), Lindsay (Taylor), Jalene, and Cory. Dear great grandmother of Annella, Aurelia, and Allegra. Predeceased by a sister and 4 brothers. Will be missed by her many nieces and nephews. Following cremation a service of remembrance will be held at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 170 Steel Street, Barrie on Monday March 20th at 11am. Immediately following the service everyone is invited into the fellowship hall of the church for the reception and to visit with the family. As an expression of sympathy donations in memory of Betty may be made to Westminster Presbyterian Church or to the Canadian Cancer Society and may be made through the funeral home.
