Dear Marion, Christine, Andy, Karol, David and families,
Our hearts are heavy with the news of Gerry’s sudden passing. Meg and David remember Gerry well from TLSS especially the time he dropped popcorn from his airplane over their campsite when they were on an Outers Club canoe trip. They also recall when he “buzzed” the school in his plane on his first “first day of school” following his retirement. I remember a wonderful evening of singing and guitar playing at our home with Marion and Gerry as well as many family occasions where his presence was always welcoming. He always had a warm smile and greeting whenever our paths crossed. He took such interest in everything and everyone around him. He will be missed by all those who knew him but especially by those closest to his heart … his dear family.
Wrap your arms around each other and hold tight, take care of each other and cherish your good, good memories of this remarkable man. Please know you are in our thoughts at this difficult time.
