Passed away at Trillium Manor, Orillia with his family at his side on Thursday February 22, 2018, at the age of 91, formerly of R.R. #1 Coldwater.  Beloved longtime companion of Audrey Prince.  Loved dad of Robert Laughlin (Dianne) of Oro-Medonte, and Kimberley Putney (Jim) of Niagara Falls.  Loving grandpa of Chantelle, Courtney, Travis, and Brandon.  Great grandfather of 3 great grandchildren.  Predeceased by his daughter Kerry, and by his brother Robert.  Walter was a retired C.P.R. welder with 42 years of service.  The family wish to express their sincere appreciation to David, Charlotte and the rest of the staff from Trillium Manor for their care and support shown to Walter.  The family will honour his life with a visitation at the COLDWATER FUNERAL HOME, Coldwater on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9pm where the service will be held on Wednesday February 28th at 2pm.  Spring interment St. John’s Anglican Cemetery, Matchedash.  As an expression of sympathy donations in memory of Walter may be made to St. John’s Anglican Cemetery or to the charity of your choice.
