Born in Surbiton, UK. April 30, 1930

Passed away, at the Villa Care Centre, Midland, on Saturday April 21, 2018, aged 87, formerly of Honey Harbour, Toronto and Woking (UK).  Beloved husband of Lois (nee McClelland, died March 9, 2018).  Loving father of Lake, Mike (Susan), and Dave (Barbara).  A child of World War II, Don loved travel, Spanish and photography, passing these interests on to daughter Lake and grandsons, Camilo and Daniel. His business acumen, as president of M&G Canada, helped son Mike in his endeavors and his son Dave in professional and other activities. His honest generosity nourished grandchildren, Jon, Jamie, Randal, Cameron, Faith, and great grandson Oak and he contributed significantly in Honey Harbour, as founder and publisher of The Bulletin.  Well cared for in his last years by family and Randy Lamoureux -- truly lived up to his name throughout Don's last years. Following cremation, a celebration of Don’s life will be held at a later date.  Donations in Don's memory can be made to the War Amps through the funeral home.
