Obituary of Richard "Rick" Blake

Passed away at Oak Terrace, Orillia on Wednesday May 9, 2018 at the age of 73, formerly of Macey Bay.  Rick was born in Hamilton on December 21, 1944 and is predeceased by his parents Marjorie and Herbert (Sandy) Blake.  Beloved husband of Gertie (Trudy).   Survived by his sons Vince (Tracy) of Barrie, and Bobby (Aly) of Toronto, by his grandchildren Cole and Piper, by his brother Ian (Pat) of Burlington, and by his nephew Devin, and niece Nicole.  Following cremation a celebration of his life will be held at the Parish Hall of Our Lady of Mercy Roman Catholic Church, Honey Harbour on Saturday July 14th from 2-4pm.  As an expression of sympathy donations in memory of Rick may be made to the Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital Foundation, Orillia and may be made through the Funeral Home.
