Obituary of Mike Taylor
Returned to his heavenly home on Wednesday May 9, 2018 after a valiant battle with a long illness at the age of 76, of Coldwater. His devotion to his family and his firm belief in God supported him in his struggle and ultimately gave him peace. Mike spent his summers on the Severn River where he met his loving wife Diane (nee Niepage) of 52 years. Loved father of Dave, Kent (Amy), and Greg (Amy). Loving grandfather of Kresson, Dawson, Mackenzie, Avery, Austin, and Blake. Dear cousin of Patrick McCourt. Mike will be missed by the Niepage family and by his many friends. Mike loved his cottage, golf and shuffleboard. The family will honour his life with a visitation at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, Coldwater on Monday May 14th from 1pm until time of service at 2pm. Interment Coldwater Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy donations in memory of Mike may be made to the RVH “Simcoe Muskoka Regional Cancer Centre”, Barrie or to the Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital Foundation, Orillia and may be made through the funeral home.
