Obituary of John R. "Jack" Speare

Peacefully on August 14, 2018 at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre in Barrie, Ontario at the age of 89.  Beloved husband of Shirley (Page).  Retired pharmacist (Eli Lilly Canada) and proud member of the University of Toronto Pharmacy class of 5T4.  Kind and loving father to Brenda (Cecil Hope), Ron (Cheryl Cullis), Doug (Anne Moher) and Carol (Robin Slaughter).  Fondly remembered by his ten grandchildren (Kim, Amy, Shauna, Rachel, Leah, Ryan, Ashley, Kate, Zach and Dylan) and five great-grandchildren (Avery, Ellie, Hannah, Myles and Brynn), his sister Lorna (Pim) and family, cousin Barry Spears, and forever in the hearts of his extended family and friends.  Celebration of Life for Jack will be held on August 30^th from 1:30 – 3:30 p.m. at Amica of Barrie Retirement Residence, 70 Lakeside Terrace, Barrie, Ontario.  In lieu of flowers, donations made to Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre – RVH Cancer Centre in Jack’s memory would be appreciated.
