Obituary of Robert G. "Bob" Durnford

Passed away peacefully, but suddenly at the Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital, Orillia on Sunday August 26, 2018 at the age of 74 of R.R. #1 Coldwater.  Cherished companion of Irene Oliver.  Survived by his son Ken (Julie) and daughter Kristine.  Grandfather of Kent.  Dear brother of Bruce (Carol).  Uncle of Keith (Tammy), Karen Tinney (Kevin), and Wanda Baxter.  Predeceased by his parents Frank & Elsie Durnford and by his infant daughter Kolleen.  Bob was a former employee of Beamish, Lafarge and Stewart Construction Companies, and the M.T.O.  A very special thanks to Art & Kathy Rimmer for their support during Bob’s illness.  Following cremation Bob will be interred in the Coldwater Cemetery.  As an expression of sympathy, donations in memory of Bob may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, and may be made through the funeral home.
