Obituary of Doug Wilfred Petroff

Passed away after a long struggle, at the Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital, Orillia on Thursday October 18, 2018 in his 90^th year of Coldwater and formerly of Gloucester Pool.  Beloved and cherished husband for 68 years of Ila (nee: Pipher).  Loving father of Brent (Terry) and Dianne Laurel (Rick).  Loved grandfather of Susan (Andy), Cory (Susanne), Ben (Shannon), Alyssa (Jenn), Craig (Ashley), and Duane (Kara).  Dear great grandfather of Andrew, Marcus, Lyla, Dylan, Sara, Presley, Drew, Jase, Megan, and Taylor.  Will be missed by his extended family the Petroff’s, and the Pipher’s.  Following cremation a celebration of his life will be held at Bonaire Golf Course on Sunday May 26th from 1-3pm.  As an expression of sympathy donations in memory of Doug may be made to Mariposa Hospice, Orillia and may be made through the funeral home.
