Passed away at the Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, Toronto on Monday October 29, 2018 at the age of 92, formerly of Coldwater.  Beloved husband of the late Janet (June 2000).  Loved father of Dave & his wife Ruth of Coldwater.  Loving grandfather of Shannan and David Jr.  Gerald was a Veteran serving overseas during WW II.  The family wish to express their sincere appreciation to the nurses of the Lower Ground West of the Veteran’s Long Term Care of Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre for their care, compassion and support shown to Gerald.  Following cremation a private family service will be held at Barrie Union Cemetery.  As an expression of sympathy donations in memory of Gerald may be made to the Poppy Fund of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #270, Coldwater and may be made through the funeral home.
