Obituary of Barton William "Bart" Spence

Passed away with family at his side at the Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital, Orillia on Tuesday December 4, 2018 at the age of 78, of Oro-Medonte.  Beloved husband of Anna (nee Clark) for 53 years.  Loved father of Clark, Barton, Anna Reedy (Frank), and Darrell.  Dear grandfather of Devian, Farren, Curtis, Joshua, Matthew, and Hollie.  Brother of Grace Sutherland (late Dave).  Brother-in-law of Janet Ewen.  Predeceased by his parents Alfred & Bertha Spence, and by his brother George (late Lynn).  Will be fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.  Following cremation, the family will honour his life with a visitation at the Wesley United Church, Eady on Friday December 7^th from 11am until the time of the service at 1pm.  Interment St. George’s Anglican Cemetery, Fairvalley.   As an expression of sympathy, donations in memory of Bart may be made to Wesley United Church, Eady and may be made through the funeral home.
