Obituary of John Bolyea

Please share a memory of John to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Passed away peacefully, in his sleep at his home in Matchedash on Wednesday, August 8th 2012, in his 58th year. Loving husband of Kathryn (Pipher) and loved father of his two daughters, Emily (Collins Kyere) and Natalie (Ernest DuFour). Grandfather of Page Kyere, Ava Kyere and John DuFour. Brother of Paul Bolyea and Barbara (Bolyea) and her husband Larry Gill. Predeceased by his parents Lois Laughlin (Bolyea) (nee Page) and Claude Bolyea and his step-father, Ivan Laughlin. He will be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews, in-laws especially his parents-in-law Bruce and Gladys Pipher and a community that loved him. John was a devoted family man who loved his family with all his heart. An avid hunter, he loved snowmobiling, four-wheeling and captaining his tugboat, the Tin Lizzie. John was the Deputy Roadmaster on the MacTier Sub-Division for the Canadian Pacific Railway. The family will honour his life with a visitation at the COLDWATER FUNERAL HOME, Coldwater from 2-4 & 7-9pm Friday. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, Port Severn on Saturday August 11th at 11am. Cremation to follow. As an expression of sympathy, donations in memory of John may be made to the Matchedash Community Heritage Hall. Friends are invited to send condolences to the family at www.coldwaterfuneralhome.com.
