Obituary of Edward "Ed" Ewing
Passed away peacefully at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre, Barrie on Tuesday September 3, 2019 surrounded by his family at the age of 77 of Matchedash. Cherished and loving husband of Heather Annis. Loved father of Todd & Tanya (Piper), Neal & Jody (Jacob and Caleb), Chris & Shannon (Drew, Trent, and Curtis) and Lisa & Warren (Emma, Claire, and Quinn). Predeceased by his sister Betty Dajko. Beloved uncle of Leanne and Heidi. Will be fondly remembered by Darlene Ewing, by his brothers, sisters in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and by his many treasured friends. Ed was a former volunteer firefighter with Severn Township, stationed out of the Matchedash Fire Hall, serving as District Fire Chief and also a member of the Orillia Gun Club. Following cremation, a celebration of Ed’s life will be held at the Matchedash Fire Hall on Saturday September 14th from 1-4pm, with a time of sharing memories at 2pm.
