Obituary of Elsie Irene Russell
Passed away peacefully at Spencer House, Orillia on Wednesday November 6, 2019, Elsie Irene Russell (nee McCaskell) at the age of 98, formerly of Coldwater. Beloved wife of the Late Carman Russell. Loved mother of Patsy Nick (Glenn), Jim (Diane), Elizabeth Leduc (Mike), and David (Charlene). Loving grandmother of Doug (Tracy), Don (Susan), Debbie (Mike), Ron (Rae Ann), Steven, and Kelly. Dear great grandmother of 10 great grandchildren and a great great grandson. Predeceased by her brothers and sisters Charlie, Harvie, Jack, Mildred, Fern, and Lula. The family wish to express their sincere appreciation to Dr. Porter of Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital and to the staff of Spencer House for the support, care and compassion shown to Elsie. The family will honour her life with a visitation at the COLDWATER FUNERAL HOME, Coldwater on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9pm. The funeral service will be held at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, Coldwater on Monday November 11th at 2pm. Interment Hobart Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy donations in memory of Elsie may be made to St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church “Rose Window Restoration Fund” or to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
