Passed away after a brief illness with her husband at her side at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre, Barrie on Saturday November 16, 2019 at the age of 72 of MacLean Lake.  Loved wife of Anthony Gibson.  Beloved daughter of Alma and the late George Sweet.  Will be missed by her brother Greg Sweet, her niece Nadine and her stepdaughter Niki Whelan.  Following cremation a celebration of Gwen’s life will be held at a later date.  As an expression of sympathy, donations in memory of Gwen may be made to the O.S.P.C.A.  “Midland Branch” or to Pancreatic Cancer Canada and may be made through the funeral home.
